About Our Practice

NYC Smile Design is a collaborative practice founded in 1995 whose principals, Dr. Ramin Tabib and Dr. Elisa Mello, have specialized in different aspects of aesthetic dentistry while continuing to master breaking developments in their profession and teach postgraduate students at NYU's College of Dentistry. We are known for the rigorous standards that have always defined the practice.

Our practice is designed to deliver advanced restorative,cosmetic and neuromuscular dentistry to correct, restore or enhance your smile. For your comfort we have carefully designed our practice to achieve this kind of dental care in an atmosphere of efficiency, warmth and understated elegance. In this comfortable setting your goals are carefully discussed so that we can integrate esthetics as part of total dental health creating an overall pleasing and natural facial appearance unique to your facial form. Our approach to improving your smile and creating comfort is conservative and non-invasive, and will have a positive impact on your overall appearance and self-confidence.

While skill, discipline, and compassion are the hallmarks of NYC Smile Design, we make sure to give back, working with programs like “Smiles for Success,” by restoring the smiles of battered women, building their self-reliance, and enabling them to begin anew. We also provide services to participants of the Doe Fund, an organization that helps homeless men attain housing and employment.
