While a great smile is good for everyone, it was really essential for Chuck Nice,the TV/Radio personality and standup commedian. Chuck’s four front teeth were misshapen, discolored, and too long for his face. Additionally, a space had opened between his two upper front teeth, and his gumline was uneven. This made the teeth appear longer on one side and shorter on the other. When Chuck visited us, he had not only decided to correct the problems, but had a pressing deadline: the Independent Spirit Awards, only a few weeks away. Our plan for Chuck included placement of four porcelain veneers on his four front teeth to improve their shape, size and color, laser realignment to even out his gum line and bleaching of all his teeth. Although permanent veneers require more time than Chuck had, we were able to create temporaries that looked exactly like the permanents, and got Chuck (looking exactly as he had hoped) to the Awards on time. The definitive final restorations were in place a week later, and gives Chuck the smile he envisioned on a permanent basis.
