Additionally, to create the longer, brighter teeth that Michelle wanted, Dr. Tabib lengthened her front teeth, also with veneers. But first, he added a layer of porcelain to the back teeth to separate the top and bottom front teeth from one another. This accommodated the veneers and the stylish smile she was after! In the beginning, Michelle thought, what’s a gum lift? Sounds painful. But the New York City Smile Design staff did such a great job explaining everything to her that it didn’t take long for her to feel excited to have the procedure done instead of scared. Each visit is so much fun for her, in fact, that none of it felt like a big deal. The music, along with a super-nice, always-laughing staff, kept things lighthearted for an easy experience. Michelle loves the whole environment and vibe at Mello and Tabib’s office. When her gum lift was finished, Michelle thought, “Whoa! That’s it?” She looked in the mirror and was already so pleased with the improvement to her smile’s appearance. Going to the dentist doesn’t feel like a doctor’s appointment to Michelle at all. Despite a high level of professionalism and being on top of everything, Michelle reports that the NYC Smile Design staff has come to feel more like family over the years she’s been going there.
